The cost, space for my family and the owners were super freindly and nice..:) Mountain view regardless of what room you are in..full size kitchen and bbq made meal prep easy.

For the age, location and lack of services available ( 2 gas stations) was a bit pricey.

Although it is an older motel, the room was well maintained and clean, bed was comfortable. For me it was perfect for an overnight stay on a two day road trip. Wifi was a secure connection. AThere was no coffee machine in the room, but there was free coffee in the lobby area in the morning. Great value for the $49 I paid.

It was close to nature, right outside the window. Park firepits 1/2 a block away. 11 lk from Canmore away from the business. Rooms were older but clean. Mountain view right outside the window. It was quiet, service was good. Showers very small and no tubs. Friends stayed at a far mire experiencive timeshare in Canmore and I liked our room better. It was bigger with chairs a fridge and a table. TV and high speed. There is a on floor laundry and lichen for cooking. This was a great hotel in its day. It was good enough for us years ago, what makes us think we deserve so much more today. We will stay there again. We did nit go to spend time in our room, but in the outdoors.

The small showers and no tubs. The windows Aldo fogged up some mornings, making it impossible to see our great view.

    Simple, clean and affordable.

Small rooms, beds are so so for comfort (old) and only 4 channels on the T.V. Though the front desk had VCR tapes available lol.

We usually camp and make our own meals. The unit had a microwave and refrigerator that allowed us to use the unit effectively.

We were in a three-bedroom suite, but one of the bedrooms was very small. Motel is located next to highway and there is highway noise in the rooms.

The proximity to Banff National Park.

It is old and needs upgrading espacially with appliances and washrooms. You canot cancel your booking. It appears to be new but it is horrible.

Nothing at all!!! It was dirty, very old, it looked like it had not been maintained or decorated since the 1960's! Also it boasted about having a balcony, which it did, however, it was rickety and we did not feel safe walking on it! We would NEVER stay here again.

It was dirty, very old and worn and in MUCH need of repair and renovation.

Nicely equipped room with stove, fridge, microwave, dishes, etc. Convenient location.

It was noisy and I could hear other guests passing through hallway. Kids group was there at time of my stay. There are no close grocery stores or restaurants. The Junction restaurant next door was extremely over priced and the food was poor.

location convenient between calgary and rockies

    rates were reasonable.

rooms could definitely use some "modernizing"...seemed clean enough but tiling in bathroom was loose/falling apart on the floors...bed was very uncomfortable and "satellite" tv consisted of 4-5 channels.

Water from a tap was so tasty, I can't drink any other water now. But I guess it is a feature of all the hotels in Dead Man's Flats. I liked the full kitchen there with all the utensils, so we had breakfast and dinner in the hotel. We had a great view from our window and it was very quite.

Shower was very inconvenient, it was low, so whenever we used it we had wet floor in the bathroom. Also we were far away from all the buzz, sometimes I thought that it would be cool to stroll down a busy street in the evening.

The hotel owner provides excellent service.

The rooms are a bit small.

Location. And our room (thankfully) had a small balcony on it.

Beds were small and very uncomfortable. Room very hot. Only 2 working TV channels. No Wi-Fi. Flooring very old and in need of replacing ie: carpets, tile in bathroom chipped and lifting.

The big horn was a dive. The staff were rude and it was way overpriced. The rooms were out dated.
